About Picwright
A wright is a maker — a shipwright builds ships, a playwright writes plays. Picwright makes pictures fit: the right pixels, the right KB, the right background, for whatever form is in front of you.
Online applications reject photos for small, frustrating reasons: 51 KB when the limit is 50, a beige wall instead of white, 600 × 800 pixels instead of 600 × 600. Picwright keeps the rules for common passports, visas and exam forms, and gives you simple tools to meet them in seconds.
Everything runs in your browser, so your photos stay private and the tools keep working on a slow connection once the page has loaded.
Picwright is the international edition of 图变工坊, a photo tool used in China for ID and exam photos.
Picwright is built and maintained by an independent developer. Every photo size on the site is taken from the official page or notice it comes from, and each size page shows when its rules were last checked.
