How do I darken a picture?
Move Brightness to the left. Every pixel is darkened by the same proportion, so colours stay the same, only deeper.
Will this fix a passport photo with shadows?
It brightens an underexposed photo, but it cannot remove shadows on the face or the background, and officials check for even lighting. Retaking the photo facing a window usually works better.
