Privacy

Short version: your photos never leave your device.

Your photos

Every tool on Picwright — cropping, resizing, compressing, changing DPI and AI background removal — runs inside your web browser. Photos are not uploaded to our servers, not stored, and not used to train anything. When you close the tab, they are gone.

Downloads from third parties

The background tool downloads an open-source AI model (MODNet) from Hugging Face and the ONNX image engine from the jsDelivr CDN the first time you use it. These are program files, not your data; your browser caches them so later runs work faster.

What we store in your browser

We remember a couple of preferences, such as your language and the country you picked for popular photo sizes. There are no accounts and no advertising cookies.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) to keep the site secure and running. They never contain your photos.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page. Last updated: October 2026.
